June First Friday in the Chapel features Riddle
Jennie Lee Riddle, a gifted songwriter, speaker, team trainer, and worship servant, is the featured performer at the June 2 First Friday in the Chapel, which starts at noon at the La Porte Hospital Family Chapel, 1007 Lincoln Way, La Porte.
The program is free and open to the public.
As the founder and operator of People & Songs and The Emerging Sound based in La Porte, Riddle and her husband Darrin moved their headquarters to La Porte in October of 2016, when they settled into the historic Ruth Sabin House along with other young missionaries.
They use their music as a primary means of serving the community, and can be found at gatherings for local houses of worship on Sunday mornings and at Arts in the Park. Their music can also be experienced online at godspotnow.com.
While Riddle loves to perform music, her passion has always been teaching and training others. She enjoys spreading the gospel through music, and it shows, as her tunes have garnered critical acclaim. Her projects, The Emerging Sound and AnalyzeMySongs, have been honored by Worship Leader Magazine, but Riddle is perhaps best known for creating the Phillips, Craig and Dean No. 1 Hit Single Revelation Song, first recorded by Kari Jobe. She has been honored as a seven-time Dove award nominee, a three-time Dove Award winner, a Top 10 CCLI Songwriter, is a multiple BMI award winner for top 25 Radio, and is a two-time gold-certified songwriter. HFL is proud to support health and wellness programs and services to achieve the vision of La Porte becoming one of Indiana’s top 10 healthiest communities by 2030.
