- HFL is proud to offer a Nonprofit Leadership Academy for La Porte County’s nonprofit community through Indiana University’s Executive Education Department at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. These competency courses cover areas of expertise vital for non-profit leadership and are led by experienced practitioners to facilitate effective application learning methods. Leaders from local nonprofit organizations participate in six classes: Nonprofit Management in the 21st Century, Strategic and Operational Planning, Fundraising, Finance, Marketing & Communication, and Results Based Accountability. After successful completion of all classes, participants receive a Nonprofit Leadership certificate from Indiana University.
